
CATALOG/VVDS FACILITIES
- Forward Recovery of ICF catalogs and SYS1.VVDS data sets
- Backup/Restore Catalogs/VVDS data sets
- Access VSAM files on mirror imaged or physically duplicated DASD volumes via standard IBM access methods. Multi-volume duplicated files on one or more I/O controllers are supported
- Synchronize Catalogs/VVDS/VTOCs, Repair Catalogs/VVDS

- Recreates VSAM KSDS file with damaged/unuseable index component
- Backup a “SNAPSHOT” copy of a VSAM file and by default it will be restored with its pre “SNAPSHOT” name and to its pre “SNAPSHOT” volume(s)
PDS & SEQUENTIAL FILE UTILITIES
