SUMMARY:Optimizing SQL workloads
DESCRIPTION:Join our webinar on Thursday\, June 6th\, to discover how SQL Quality Control outperforms traditional SQL monitors in reducing CPU costs. \nWATCH WEBINAR \nVi An Lieu\, a DBA from REWE Group (a huge retailer in Germany)\, recently spoke at a conference about his experiences in performance issues and resolutions on their 140 billion per day Db2 transactions. REWE worked with the Db2 specialist software house UBS Hainer in the design and delivery of an enhanced product SQL Quality Control\, which optimizes SQL workloads. \nThe DBAs at REWE discovered that for the first time\, a product helped in getting application SMEs to agree quickly to make the changes highlighted. SMEs themselves were monitoring the Grafana dashboards and reports which are conducive to ensuring “actions”. The primary considerations for the SMEs (and DBAs) are the ongoing information captured\, which augmented other not-so-modern products they use (and you may be using)\, of the Statement History\, Access Plan History\, and Index Advisor\, along with other areas.
