Handle test data for cloud applications

The deployment of applications into a cloud infrastructure should be backed up by a test data strategy. Cover all platforms, from legacy systems to cloud, beginning from the migration process.

Extract and apply data in cloud databases

The database layer can be moved to a cloud infrastructure platform. Connect to cloud
databases and master the test data challenge across system boundaries. Connect to Oracle PDBs, AzureDB, PostgreSQL, and EnterpriseDB, and integrate with Google BigQuery, Apache
Spark, and other cloud databases.

Provide test data
with your application service APIs

XDM simplifies data integration by enabling seamless reading from REST APIs, incorporating robust data masking methods, and allowing direct writing back to application APIs. This reduces the need for in-depth technical knowledge of the database layer, making it more accessible and user-friendly. XDM facilitates the inclusion of applications in the test data provisioning process, even when the database layer is not connected.

Connect to key value and document databases

Use XDM’s generic JDBC connector to interact with data in key-value stores and document databases. This functionality allows you to integrate Hadoop clusters, Redis stores, and MongoDB data into your test data processes. Additionally, you can use the APIs of these databases to read, modify, and write data. XDM also supports high-performance binding requirements for specific projects.

Install XDM in Kubernetes or OpenShift

Install and manage XDM within a Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster using the provided Helm Chart, which standardizes and simplifies the process. Seamlessly integrate infrastructure as code systems like Terraform and Flux to automate installation steps. Define your desired XDM installation, and it will be automatically deployed. Kubernetes or OpenShift will then handle provisioning, scaling, and updating resources.

Integration

All processes can be started or scheduled using XDM’s REST API. Configurations can
bechanged via an import and export feature. A Jenkins plug-in is also available. XDM can invoke other tools via their APIs. These calls can be made before or after individual task steps, or from within workflows

Integration

Streamlined process management with XDM

With XDM’s REST API, you can easily start or schedule all processes. Take advantage of the import and export feature to change configurations effortlessly. For added convenience, XDM offers a Jenkins plug-in. XDM supports seamless integration by invoking other tools via their APIs. These API calls can be made before or after individual task steps, or within workflows, providing maximum flexibility and control over your processes.
